She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond J. Black; her parents, Lynn Ward and Edna Ward; her sisters, Letty Ward and Mary Ward Gros; and her brother-in-law Donald Gros.
She is survived by: her sons, David Moreau (Rosalyn), Daryl Moreau (Jill) and Doug Moreau; her grandchildren, Adam Moreau (Cory) and Hannah Moreau; her nephews, Ward Gros (Anita), John Gros (Becky) and Andrew Gros (Alison); her niece Donna Bourgeois (Randy); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Rachel, Emily Ribando-Gros, Jennifer Quigley, Camille Gros, Cecile Gros, Joseph, Jacob Quigley, Paul Gros and Drew Gros; and her cousin Donald Brinkman (Charlene).
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
