Jack Arthur Garitty Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2025, at the age of 21, Jack Arthur Garitty (Metairie, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Jack Arthur may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Earl J. Garitty, Jr., Joseph F. Pardo, Sr. and Rita E. Pardo. He is survived by: his parents, Arthur Edward Garitty and Kathryn Pardo Garitty; his siblings, Claire, Charlie and Caroline; and his grandmother Joan Wolfe Garitty. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Philip Neri Church (6500 Kawanee Ave, Metairie, LA 70003). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
