Iris Petitfils Kern Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2024, at the age of 95, Iris Petitfils Kern (Metairie, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl George Petitfils and Amy Jackson Petitfils. She is survived by: her children, Lawrence "Larry" Kern (Judy) and Karen Kern Hermann; and her grandchildren, Shaun Christopher Kern (Holly), Ashley Elizabeth Kern (Kit), Hilmer Paul Hermann III (Crystal) and Andrew Thomas Hermann (Allison). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that all donations be made in memory of Iris to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
