He was predeceased by: his parents, Balvinia Ethel Anderson Burg and Hugh Joseph Cowan; his wife Doris Marie Boudreaux Cowan; his son Wayne Joseph Cowan (Tammy); his great grandchild Allison; his sister Ethel "Delores"; and his sisters-in-law, Wilma, Ella and Mildred.
He is survived by: his children, Ramona Ann Simon (late Randy), Kenneth Michael Cowan (Patricia) and Diane Catherine Rougelot (Sidney); his grandchildren, Mickey, Angela, Kenneth, Maria, Marie, Jeanne, Sidney, Monica, Andrew and Melanie; and his sister-in-law Mary.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
