It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hubert James Bordelon (Metairie, Louisiana), born in Bordelonville, Louisiana, who passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wives, Lorraine Galway Bordelon and Linda Masterson Bordelon; his son David Michael Bordelon; his parents, Lionel Bordelon and Alice Bordelon; his siblings, Russell Lemoine, Nellie Lemoine, Melborne Lemoine, Woodrow Lemoine, Earlene Lemoine Morel, Ida Lee Bordelon Brysson and Burnell Bordelon Quinlan; and his stepson Michael Calabresi (Mary).

He is survived by: his daughter Sheryl Bordelon Brosonski (Michael); his granddaughter Monique Muñoz Clancy (Bryan); his stepchildren, Ann Marie Hamann (Brandon), Lisa Calabresi and David Calabresi; and his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Fife, Kelsey Fife, Sarah Calabresi, Laura Calabresi, Keith Badeaux (Darcie), Stephanie Badeaux, Cameron Calabresi and Brittney Calabresi. He is also survived by seven step great-grandchildren.
