He was predeceased by: his father A. Edward Hardin, Sr.; and his grandparents, John Patrick Grimes, Susan Proby Grimes, Harry Sproule Hardin and Frances Fisher Hardin.

He is survived by: his wife Emily; his children, Seamus, Kiernan and Maura; his mother Marybelle Grimes Hardin; his brothers, A. Edward Hardin, Jr. (Nancy) and Sean Grimes Hardin (Maureen); his nieces and nephews, Sarah, Claire Hardin, Brendan and Patrick Hardin; his in-laws, Gordon and Ann Stevens; his siblings-in-law, Amanda Friedlander (Ryan), Caroline Bacon (Michael), Melanie Hoeman (Brent), Mary Catherine Luxhoj (Carl), Eugenie Stevens and Miles G. Stevens IV (Alyssa); and his nieces and nephews, Finn, Joseph Friedlander, Colin, Anna, Vivian Bacon, Jude, Rory, Sam, Charlie Hoeman, Luke Luxhoj and Piper Stevens. He is also survived by family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (105 Bonnabel Blvd, Metairie, LA 70005). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church and Hogs for the Cause.
