With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald L. Boubede (Metairie, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 8, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene Joseph Boubede Sr. and Mildred Feindel Boubede; his brother Rene Joseph Boubede; his father-in-law Rex Allen Spencer Jr.; and his brother-in-law Robert Graziano.

He is survived by: his sons, Edward Wehl Postlethwait Jr. (Cassie) and Sean Michael Boubede (Jessica); his grandchildren, Edward, Alyssa Marie Postlethwait, Catherine Lamartiniere, Anthony Canal and Peyton Pritchett; his siblings, Eileen Graziano, Lorraine Holmes (Harold) and Alan (Anna); his mother-in-law Gladys Byrne Spencer; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Boubede, Linda Grillot (Richard), Roxane Spencer and Terri Slavich (Sam). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
