She was predeceased by: her parents, Joy V. Amedee and Lawrence Amedee, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Thad Elmer; her children, Chelsey Elmer Burgess (Devvin) and Kayla Elmer Weber (Matthew); her grandchildren, Blair Catherine Burgess, Nora Joy Burgess, Jack Joseph Burgess and Baby Weber; her siblings, Lawrence Amedee, Jr. (Linda), Wayne Amedee (Debbie), Laurie A. Bernard (Ronald), Karen A. Demoruelle (Guy) and Mary Amedee; and her nephews, Justin Weaver and Dylan Cashio.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006). A Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
