He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Hospital (Spencer Scharfenstein) and Southern Baptist Hospital; and his brothers, Spencer, David and Craig.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sandy Duhe and Bob; his stepdaughters, Leslie, Mary, Elizabeth and Jennifer; his grandsons, Adam and Nicolas; and his nieces and nephews, David, Benjamin, Stacey, Raegan, Ashleigh and Sarah.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Metairie Ridge Presbyterian Church (215 Phosphor Ave, Metairie, LA 70005). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations may be made in his honor to the National Aphasia Association for research for Primary Progressive Aphasia or to the New Orleans Botanical Garden in City Park.
