He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mesa and Dorothy Welsh Mesa; and his sister Gail Mesa Kramer. He is survived by: his wife Diane Cornforth Mesa; his children, Karen Bruzeau (Jay), Gary Mesa (Aimee) and Tanya Mesa; his grandchildren, Justin Bruzeau (Gabriella), Travis Bruzeau (Courtney), Hannah Bruzeau, Garin Mesa and Colin Mesa; and his great grandchildren, Nathan "Gunner" Bruzeau, Adrianna Morales and Weston Bruzeau. He is also survived by several family members, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (1600 N Causeway Blvd, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Jude's Children's hospital and Wounded Warriors.
