It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Charles Merrell (Metairie, Louisiana), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Ernest Merrell and Altha Couch; his children, Forrest, Angele, Paul and Christopher; and his grandchildren, Lyn, Elizabeth, Ava, Kayden, Jace, Connor and Nolan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Pius X Church in New Orleans, LA or to a charity that is meaningful to you.
