Elena Alphonse Obituary

Elena Krause Alphonse passed on June 13, 2024 at age 78. She was born in New Orleans and was a long-time resident of Metairie. Daughter of the late George Joseph Krause and Marie Louise Toups. Fostered by the late Louis A. Webre and Emilee A. Webre. Spouse of the late Sal Alphonse. Survived by sons Joseph Louis Alphonse (spouse Emily) and Christopher Michael Alphonse (spouse Jeannine); grandson Christopher Michael Alphonse, Jr.; granddaughters Jane Marie Alphonse and Grace Emily Alphonse. A retired employee of the Metairie YMCA and former member of Deutsches Haus, L'Union Francaise and St. Angela Merici Parish. In accordance with Elena's wishes, services will be private.
