With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eleanor Suhre LaCombe of Metairie, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Suhre, Sr. and Ethel Coig Suhre. She is survived by: her siblings, Constance Suhre Collins and William Suhre, Jr. (Ellie); her husband John Anthony LaCombe, Sr.; her children, Allison LaCombe Bentley (John), Cheryl LaCombe Hollier (Ricky), John, Anthony LaCombe, Jr., Michele LaCombe Van Geffen (David) and Jennifer LaCombe Melton (Keith); her grandchildren, Charley Hollier Downen (Jesse), Dennis Crocker (Allie), Brittany Paige Hollier and Kaitlin Bentley; her great grandchildren, Chad, Christian, Teshub, Chase, Colton, Kamryn, Connor, Huntleigh, Allie James, Corbin, Elizabeth Anne and Cohen; her siblings, Ethelyn Suhre Guillory and Ernest Suhre (Kathy); and her sisters-in-law, Jeanne LaCombe Perelli, Judith LaCombe Benelli (Danny) and Delores Suhre. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
