He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bates Haslauer; his children, Tracy Haslauer Novak (Tim), Jonathan Bates Haslauer (Jamie) and Maxwell Edward Haslauer (Alicia); his grandchildren, Brendan, Isabella, Julia, Jackson, Maxwell, Ethan and Benjamin; his siblings, Gerard Haslauer, Jr., David Haslauer, Kathy Haslauer DiZinno and Therese Haslauer O'Neill; and also Ruth Torres Haslauer.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Edward's honor.
