He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Nochimson and Lester Halprin; his sister Wendy Fastman; and his stepmother Trudy Halprin. He is survived by: his wife Mary Fuller; his sons, Bernie Halprin (Gabrielle Halprin) and Steve Halprin (Jessica Fabre); his brother Michael Halprin; his grandchildren, Brad Halprin, Rylee Halprin, Remy Halprin and Violet Halprin; and his great grandchildren, Ruby Halprin and Julian Halprin.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
