She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron B. Bordelon and Mary Oustalet Bordelon; her husband Rollo Joseph Bourgeois, Jr.; her son Robert Joseph Bourgeois; and her siblings, Marie B. Mayfield, Ruth B. Broussard, Mary B. Reggio, Byron "Buddy" Bordelon, Jr. and Frank L. Bordelon.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth B. Guzzardo (Doug); her grandchildren, Laura E. Guzzardo, Anna M. Guzzardo, Stephen J. Guzzardo and Mason Bourgeois (Simone); and her daughter-in-law Tiffany Bourgeois.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (6425 W Metairie Ave, Metairie, LA 70003). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (5190 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
