She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Calamia and Aline Calamia; her husband Jack Villarrubia; her sister Jackie Catalanotto; and her grandson Matthew Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Gregg Villarrubia (Marilyn), Julie Hughes (Thomas), Lisa Galliano (Michael) and Ken Villarrubia (Cindi); her grandchildren, Brandon Scardigli (Lauren), Mallory Wilson (Chance), Jake Villarrubia and Dylan Villarrubia; her great grandchildren, Riley Scardigli, Sadie Scardigli and Stella Wilson; her godson Eric Castay (Angela); and her close friends, Margie, Joan and Peggy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
