She was predeceased by: her parents, Isidore Sr. Jackson and Lauren Jackson; her husband Coleman Marsalis Sr.; her siblings, Rosalie Jackson Washington (Sam), Isador Jr., Willie Mae Jackson Butler (LC) and Ernest "Mann" Jackson (MarryMae); her grandsons, Robert Earl Marsalis and Dewayne Marsalis; and her in-laws, Curtis Marsalis Jr., JD, RethaMae and Maggie Bates.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hollygrove Church of Christ (2940 Cambronne St, New Orleans, LA 70118). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
