With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Daniel Dawson (Metairie, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Andrew Dawson Sr. and Hazel Frey Dawson; and his siblings, Andrew Dawson, Ann Konerman and Mary Lynn Steffien.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Dawson, Lorraine Dawson, Bridget Dawson, Harriet Haworth and Gretchen Martin; his children, Laura Denise Dawson, Mark Lowell Dawson and Allen Elliott Dawson (Cindy); and his grandchild Taylor Andrew Dawson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
