In the sacred silence of farewell, Claire is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Walz and Pauline Foto Walz; and her sister Ethel. She is survived by: her son Rodney Waller (Susan); her stepsons, Harold Carbo (Susan) and Richard Carbo (Debbie); and her caregiver Ofelia Lee. She is also survived by many grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (4747 Veterans Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
