She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Joseph Gallo and Irma Harmeyer Gallo; her husband Bernard L. Mares Sr.; her daughter Arline Mares; and her siblings, Eddie Gallo, Linda Pelot and Vic Gallo.
She is survived by: her son Bernard Mares Jr. (Michelle); her grandsons, Bernard Mares III and Brandon Mares; and her sister Betty Trimble. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
