She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Carmouche and Curry Dauzat; her grandparents, Javalee DeSoto and Urbin Carmouche; her daughter Effie Sarti; her granddaughter Skylar Sarti; and her brothers, Michel, Roy and Ivry Dauzat.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Barilleaux (Barbara) and Susan Landry (Gary); her grandchildren, Stacey Hedrick and Lawrence Sarti, Jr. (Jami); and her stepgranddaughter Tammy "Troy" Fischer. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (6425 W Metairie Ave, Metairie, LA 70003). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
