We bid farewell to Audrey Cline Hyer (Metairie, Louisiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 24, 2024 at the age of 98. Audrey touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Roy E. Hyer, Sr.; her parents, Rose McElroy and John Cline, Sr.; and her siblings, Louise, Florence Rauch, Arthur Coleman, Ellen Seo, Jack Cline, Charlie Cline, John Cline and Gerald Cline.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Hyer, Jr., Peggy Hyer Mellor (William), Susan Hyer Zimmerman and Wayne Hyer; her grandchildren, Ryan Zimmerman (Stephanie), Stacie Mellor Collins (Chris), Matthew Zimmerman (Angela) and Maureen Hyer Fleischman (Jon); and her great grandchildren, Savanna, Kohen, Carson Zimmerman, Preston Collins, Kyle Winkler III, Sophia and Matthew Fleischman.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Christopher the Martyr Catholic Church (3900 Derbigny St, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Masses offered through St. Christopher the Martyr Church are preferred.
