She was predeceased by: her husband Starkey; her parents, Hester Palmer and Allen Palmer; and her siblings, Albert Palmer, Esther Watts and Myrtis Palmer.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Lynette Anderson, Cathy Ann Thompson and Chad Dwayne Starkey; her grandchildren, Jerrica Saltaformaggio and James Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Darien, Dylan and Levi. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ln Hughes Funeral Services (21400 S I - 12 Service Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Ln Hughes Funeral Services (21400 S I - 12 Service Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Serenity Baptist Church Cemetery.
