She is survived by: her husband Roger Darden; her children, Larry Thibodeaux (Dwanyeitta) and Tyianne Lawrence; her stepchildren, Roger Darden Jr. (Toniya), Valerie Coleman (Marcus) and Vanessa Young (Andrew); her grandchildren, Jarren Thibodeaux, Tylar Lawrence, Braeden Thibodeaux, Jayla Toney and Mariah Young; her sisters, Debra Johns (Charles), Bonnetta Franklin Matthews (Bryan), LaCern Thibodeaux (Mark McGowan) and Trinese Thibodeaux; her nieces and nephews, Brittany Franklin Simonetta (John), Ayris Franklin, Carla Johns (Lisa), Jadyan Thibodeaux, Ariana Lewis, Sherell Daniels (Corey), Chris Johns (Tania), Justin Thibodeaux (Rachel), Clifton Thibodeaux and Nashyn McGowan; her siblings-in-law, Annie Elliott, Elmaretta Darden, Janice McMann (Jackie), Sylvester Darden (Bertha) and Verner Darden (Janice); and her friends, Debra Mosely and Terri Hadley Anderson. She is also survived by cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
