He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus James and Mary James; and his brother Roy C. James. He is survived by: his wife Annemarie James of Merryville; his daughter Sigrid James of Merryville, LA; and his grandchildren, John Paul James of Port Arthur, TX, Crystal Lee Cantrell of Rosepine, LA and Annamarie Katherine Decker of Washington. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
