She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nelson, Sr. and Nerecy Nelson; her husband John Glaspie; her daughter Cheryl Lynn Glaspie; and her sisters, Alberta Powell Roy Lee (John), Mable Lean Samuel (Grant) and Naomi Nelson.
She is survived by: her sister Catherine; her children, Beverly Harris of San Antonio, TX, Gwendolyn Traylor of Cincinnati, OH, Allan Glaspie (Petula) of Lake Charles, LA, Johnny Glaspie (Mary) of Jasper, TX and Bonnie Jackson (Alexander) of Helotes, TX; and her brothers, William Nelson, Jr. (Catherine) of Bon Wier, TX and Elmarine Kellum (late James) of Jasper, TX. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
