He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Rouse and Barbara Rouse; his siblings, Lawrence Rouse and Becky Rouse; and his parents-in-law, Sidney and Lena Naquin.

He is survived by : his wife Mamie Rouse; his children, Scotty Rouse (Shannon) of Opelousas, Thomas Rouse (Rebecca) of Krotz Springs, Shelly Duchesne (Sambo) of Herbert, Andrew Rouse of Melville, Joseph Rouse of Grayson and Patrick Rouse of Grayson; his siblings, Charlene Olivier (Alvin) of Arnaudville, Barbara Worley (Daniel) of Fordouche, Judith Wasburn (Scooter) of Sealy, TX, Tracy Whitstine (Carl) of Jackson, Emily Rouse of St. Francisville and Kenny Rouse (Brandy); his uncle Glenn Davis (Patsy) of Elton; and his grandchildren, Skylar, Dusty, Meagan Rouse, Joshua Billodeau, Taylor Ellis, Thomas Rouse, III (Tootie Bug), Logan Bates, Sydni Bates, Almond, Lane Almond, Jada Rouse, Jayden Rouse and Hunter (Andrew Rouse). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
