With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mack A. Shaw Sr. (Melville, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mack may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Abram and Mack Shaw; and his grandmother Irene Ross. He is survived by: his wife Linda Diane Shaw; his children, Mack Allen Shaw, Jr. (Natalie), Sherraud Shaw (Danyelle), Jacoby Shaw (April) and Jacqueline Schnea Armstrong (Theardis); and his sisters, Linda Shaw Armstrong and Charlene Barrett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (318 1st St, Melville, LA 71353). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
