With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katie Marie Castle Robertson (Melville, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Castle and Elise Green Castle; and her siblings, Gregory Green, Ronald Castle and Barbara Castle.
She is survived by: her husband Jake Roy Robertson, Sr. of Melville, LA; her children, Jake Roy Robertson, Jr. of Melville, LA, Patrick Glenn Robertson (Penny) of Melville, LA and Caretta Lynn Robertson of Melville, LA; her siblings, Michael Castle (Janice) of Opelousas, LA and Zina Joshua (Xavier) of Laura, MS; and her grandchildren, Kenneth Marshall, Kendall Marshall (Toni), Lionel Harrison, Katelynn Harrison, Patrick Robertson, Jr., Jazlyn Robertson, Constance Robertson, Cassidy Robertson and Camron Robertson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emma Zion Baptist Church (1120 5th St, Mamou, LA 70554).
