It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Darbonne of Melville, Louisiana, who passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Darbonne; her parents, Edmond Phillips and Olvia Frame; her siblings, Matthew Phillips, Donald Phillips, Jessie Phillips, Mable Smith, Irene Scallan, Joyce Johnson Brown, Mary Ann Feig, Rose Williams and Vera Chauncy; and her great grandchildren, Micah Womack, Matthan Womack, Destiny Higginbotham and Josiah Mendoza.
She is survived by: her children, Sherman Darbonne (Johnna) of Jackson, Carla Beary (Kevin) of Livingston and Sonya Lilly (Bob Lilly) of Angie; her sisters, Peggy Barker and Bell Armand of Fort Worth; and her grandchildren, Christopher Thibodeaux, Adam Beary, Kendra Mendoza, Keisha Butler, Kayla Seals, Bryce Clark, Devin Vinson, Nancy Holley, Kristine Torres and Bryan Goss. She is also survived by thirty great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
