He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Owens, Sr. and Lillian Landry; and his sisters, Rita Gallagher, Jean Goodwin, Pat Theriot and Theresa Schouest.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Dartez Owens; his children, Anita Hebert (Clint), Mitchell Owens (Mona) and Michael Owens (Kitty); his grandchildren, Nathan, Zachary, Michaela and Gregory; his great grandchildren, Evangeline North and Noah North; and his sisters, Audrey, Alice and Doris.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville On (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A rosary will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville Honoring (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
