She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Welch and Genevieve Welch. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Menard of Maurice; her sisters, Marie Fontenot (Perry) of Ville Platte and Penny Berthelot (James) of Ville Platte; her daughters, Amanada Suire (David) of Katy and Renée Menard (Sherry) of Lafayette, Louisiana.; and her grandchildren, Kennedy Suire, Nicholas Suire and Allie Suire. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all honorary giving be made to either Florence's favorite charity St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, an organization that saved one of grandchildren's lives, or to the Family Promise of Acadiana, where a family room is being dedicated in her honor.
