She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Norman; her daughter Joanna Duhon; her parents, Eldridge Catalon and Emma Catalon; her parents-in-law, Edwin Norman Sr. and Olita Norman; her grandparents, Eraste, Mary Mouton, Doris and Anastacia Catalon; her siblings, Paul Catalon, Emanuel Catalon, Larry Catalon and Joanna Catalon; and her siblings-in-law, Edwin Norman Jr., Roosevelt Norman, Kerbet Norman, Clarence Norman, Sharbet Norman, Doris Catalon, Ozita Catalon, Jerry Catalon, Velma Arceneaux, Rose Roy, Dorothy Norman, Wilda Trahan, Hilda Perry, Florence Bushnell and Calvina Welch.
She is survived by: her children, David Michael Norman Sr. (Linda) of Maurice, LA, Richard Norman (Emily) of Opelousas, LA, Craig Norman (Kerry) of Lafayette, LA, Pamela Raggette (Stephen) of Rosenburg, TX and Sharon Comeaux (Richard) of Lafayette, LA; and her sister-in-law Olita Narcisse of La Marque, TX. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Maurice (8005 Maurice Ave, Maurice, LA 70555). A rosary was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
