It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Richard (Maurepas, Louisiana), who passed away on March 18, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Verdun Richard and Billie Langdon Richard; and his sisters, Gloria Dupuy and JoAnn Brown. He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Richard (Jeanette) of Ponchatoula, Paul Richard (Docia) of Huntsville and Denise Richard of Whitehall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Cancer Services of GBR or enrollment in Masses is preferred.
