With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Edward Oxner Jr. of Maurepas, Louisiana, born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on July 10, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Joiner Oxner; his grandparents, Raymond, Dorothy Joiner, Robert and Annie Oxner; and his parents-in-law, Maggie and Kenneth Carroll.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Oxner; his son Jacob Paulino Oxner; his father James Edward "Jim" Oxner, Sr.; his brother-in-law Charles W. Guedry of Gonzales, LA.; his brother Michael Lee Oxner; his sister-in-law Sherilyn Talay Oxner; and also, Dorothy and McKayla Oxner of Charleston, SC..
