It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Neil Chatelain Sr. (Maurepas, Louisiana), born in Independence, Louisiana, who passed away on September 27, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Robert and Loney Lewis Chatelain; his wife Frances Marie Chatelain; and his brother Gregory Chatelain. He is survived by: his children, Sindy Sturges (Denney) and Douglas N. Chatelain, Jr. (Maydel); his grandchildren, Peyten Sturges, Presten Sturges, Piersten Sturges, Pyper Sturges, Madeline Schexnayder and Alan Schexnayder; and his sister Joan Fabre. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
