Wilma Sosa Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilma Sosa (Marrero, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Wilma shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Wilma farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Enrique Murillo and Lastenia Murillo; and her siblings, Mirna Murillo, Yetty Murillo and Jose Matute.

She is survived by: her husband Carlos Sosa; her children, Carlos H. Sosa II, Marissa S. Lopez (Hector), Alex Sosa and Christopher Murillo (Jamie); her grandchildren, Andrew Lopez and Isabella Lopez; and her brother Harry Murillo.
