He is survived by: his wife Lelia Robichaux Bernard; his children, Wayne Anthony Bernard Jr. (Dawn), Wade Paul Bernard (Michelle) and Shannon Bernard Powell (Donald); his stepchildren, Dawn Gray Bernard (Wayne) and Dana Gray Clements (Lonnie); his grandchildren, Paul Bernard (Tasha), Katelyn Bernard Wilson (Marcus), Shane Allen Bernard, Caleb Shelby Bernard (Lauren), Anthony Powell and Susan Marie Powell; and his stepgrandchildren, Dustin Holt, Chance Gray, Sidney Holt and Blaze Smith.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mothe Funeral Home (7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the Westlawn Memorial Park (1225 Whitney Ave., Terrytown, LA 70056).
