Wanda Russell Monfrey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Russell Monfrey of Marrero, Louisiana, born in Kilgore, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Langford Russell and Morris Duane Russell; and her brother Morris Duane Russell. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Monfrey; her children, Michele Monfrey Whitney (Neil) and Jeffery Wayne Monfrey (Kacy); her grandchildren, Madison Whitney Robert (Riley), Mason Monfrey (Angela), Austin Monfrey (Katelyn), Brayden Monfrey, Avery Edgar and Brody Monfrey; and her great grandchildren, Liam Monfrey, Harper Monfrey and Isla Monfrey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harvey - Mothe Funeral Homes (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
