She is survived by: her children, Candace Nikeia Newell, Bernard Newell, Jr. (Spencine) and Tonell Bickham (Earnest); her husband Bernard Newell, Sr.; her grandchildren, Bernard Newell Jr. (Spencine) and Tonell Bickham (Earnest); and her sisters, Pamela Dumas (Bertrand), Rosalind Johnson (Kevin) and Kim Frederick. She is also survived by her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, her brother-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
