She was predeceased by: her parents, Genevieve Pichoff and Murray Pichoff; and her siblings, Gladys Pichoff Nemeth, Bruce E. Pichoff and Murray Pichoff.
She is survived by: her husband Leon F. Maurer, Jr.; her son Robert J. Bourgeois II (Debbie); her grandchildren, Amy Guidroz (Dustin), Joe Bourgeois and John Bourgeois; and her great grandchildren, Sarah E. Guidroz and Noah M. Guidroz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
