Sandra M. Jenkins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra M. Jenkins of Marrero, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Genola E. Joseph; her grandparents, Honoray Joseph, Lorenzia Raphael Joseph, Pierre O. Raphael, Felicia Hymel Raphael, John Joseph and Mary Ann Holtz Joseph; her sister Shelia Ann Jenkins; her godson Eric Rankings, Jr.; her sister-in-law Carol Thibeaux Jenkins; her friend Norna Armstead; and also Nasya F. Joseph.
She is survived by: her children, Chiquentia M. Jenkins of Jackson, MS, Dwayne A. Jenkins and D'Quan C. Jenkins; her grandchildren, Nina Davis of Duluth, GA, Aja Purvis of Jackson, MS and Micaiah Francois; her children-in-law, Rico Ward of Jackson, MS and Kiara Francis; her siblings, Robin Jenkins, Tyrone Jenkins and Honoray A. Joseph, Sr. (Anita G.); and her nieces and nephews, Semaj A. Jenkins, Jillisa O. Joseph, Jillana E. Joseph, Honoray A. Joseph, Jr. and Jayden A. Joseph. She is also survived by cousins, friends, and coworkers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (6820 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
