She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Stevens, Jr.; her son Earl Williams III; her grandson Earl Williams IV; her great grandchild Brittany R. Williams; her parents, George Conway and Flossie Gales; her grandparents, James and Polly Godfrey; and her sibling Shirley Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Williams Ellis (Glenn), Polly Stevens Rosemond (Ronald), Marc Stevens (Deborah), David Stevens, Djuna Stevens (Bryan), Gordon Stevens, Gerald Stevens, Sr. and Joseph Stevens; and her grandson Reginald Price. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren, 25 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church (1738 L B Landry Ave, New Orleans, LA 70114). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
