He is survived by: his wife Peggy LaPorte; his children, Ronald LaPorte, Jr., Robbie LaPorte, Robin "Sissy" LaPorte Cathcart (Jeff) and Ronell LaPorte (Maressa); his grandchildren, Amber Cathcart Vasquez (Jonathan), Chloe Laporte and Luke Laporte; and his great grandchild Mason Vasquez.
