With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Francis Schulte (Marrero, Louisiana), born in Rochester, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Schulte and Mary Schulte; and his siblings, Robert Francis and Mary Elizabeth (MaryBeth). He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Ann Cortazzo (Thomas), Ellen Schulte, Michele McGovern (Clay), Anton (Tony), Amy Kishbaugh (Elwood "Bob") and Mary Collins (Charles); his grandchildren, Paul Cortazzo, Connor O'Neil (Desireé), Colin McGovern, Liam McGovern, Parrish Tschantz, Cooper Tschantz and Daisy Schulte; his stepgrandchildren, Hannah Tossey (Thomas), Anna-Li Gardner (Ryan), Caydon Collins and Avriana Collins; and his brothers, Gerald Schulte (Donna) and Patrick Schulte (Sandi). He is also survived by 5 brothers- and sisters-in-law; 21 nieces and nephews; and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Joseph the Worker Church (455 Ames Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072). A Mass will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
