He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Jones, and Ethel May Jones, Jr.; and his siblings, Patrick, Edward, Gregory, Gerald, Jerome, Keith Ray Jones and Lisa Ann Jones McDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Carmelisa Baptiste (Dalton), Richard Jones, Jr. (Jamisha), Rishonda Jones (Patrick), Lynette Gray, Christopher Collins, Richardo Collins and Zarie Gums; and his grandchildren, Tierra, Tyrone, Jr., Jiaya of Kandence, TJ, Aniya, Amyri, Paityn, Ma'lani, Mason, Serenity and Marcelleous. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Davis Mortuary Service (6820 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
