We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2024, Rakeem Melvdrick Wilson of Marrero, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Amir Henderson, Isaiah, Adira Corbin, Kareem Wilson, De'myria, De'moni and De'kari Gilmore; his parents, Terri Wilson Thomas and Benjamin Degree, Jr.; his stepparents, Holly Degree, Koruth Mangle and Charles Bell Thomas; his siblings, Melvin Wilson, Korielle Mangle, Koruth Wilson, Benjaneca Delmore (Remon), Maliki, Annabella, Reylyn Degree and Benjamin Degree, III; his grandparents, Robert Wilson, Benjamin Roy Degree, Sr., Bertha Wilson and Elenora Mason; and his great-grandparent Florence Porche. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Interment will be private. Face masks are not required but recommended.
