It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paulette Simone Meadows of Marrero, Louisiana, who passed away on February 8, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Craig Paul Collier; her parents, Andrew J. Prejeant Sr. and Paulette Bourzat Prejeant; and her brother Andrew J. "Frenchie" Prejeant Jr. (late Mary). She is survived by: her close friend Bennie Thomassie Jr.; her daughter Melissa Lynn Meadows; her stepchildren, Troy Nelson Thomassie of Tara Clare, Wilde and Rachal Elizabeth Thomassie; her children-in-law, Gene Lynch Jr. and Penny Tardiff Thomassie; her grandchild Cerris Thomassie Kent; her grandson-in-law Philip Kent; her great grandchild Watson Nelson Kent; and her grand-pup Jake. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
