He is survived by: his children, Beverly Cheramie, Nichol Verdin, Jr., Jeanann V. Frederick (Randy) and James "Jimmy" Verdin, Sr. (Laura); and his sister Marie Verdin Bond Talamo (late Tony). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
